What can I say? Congratulations to Sri Pelancongan Sabah (subsidiary of Sabah Tourism Board) for making the event a successful yet a memorable one.

Arrived quite (not quite but very!) late actually - 5.45pm! and I bet we missed most of the exciting event - the orchestra by the Jesselton Orchestra (hope I got the group name correct! hehe). But nevertheless, I did enjoyed their musical performances apart from Miss Clarice Petrus sang us a few song (a Malay song that I forgot the title and a very popular song - You Raise Me Up) - She does have a great vocal technique and goosebumps all over me when she belted the "You Raise Me Up" - it did raised me up! haha)

By the time we arrived, the road heads to the Tip of Borneo was so congested and eventhough we have this sticker stated "Parking A", guess it's for VIP, we still have trouble in accessing the parking area. some people just don't understand that they are not allowed to enter centain zone without the pass or maybe the RELA didn't explain it well to the public.

Anyway, the view was spectacular (almost sunset!) and the area has totally changed from nothing to something that the state can be proud of! and I am proud of Tip of Borneo Personally! bravo! bravo!. - We don't need a CASINO! to lure tourist to visit our blessed state, Sabah.

This is my first time to witness such event and I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to witness such melodic and breathtaking music played by the orchestra (who was that little guy?! he played confidently! :) )

By the way, I thought the sunset is going to be a blast! of the event. Unfortunately NOT! blame the clouds that time... :)

20 Perkara Perjanjian Sabah Menyertai Malaysia

History
The agreement was written for the main purpose of safeguarding the interests, rights, and the autonomy of the people of Sabah upon entering the federation of Malaysia. It was originally envisaged that Sabah be one of the four entities in the federation, the others being Malaya, Singapore, and Sarawak. However as times passed, Sabah and Sarawak has ended up being merely one of the 13 states in the federation.

The position today
There has been numerous calls for the agreement to be reviewed to take into account social, economic, and political changes over time.[2]

The agreement

Point 1: Religion
While there was no objection to Islam being the national religion of Malaysia there should be no State religion in North Borneo, and the provisions relating to Islam in the present Constitution of Malaya should not apply to North Borneo

Point 2: Language
a. Malay should be the national language of the Federation
b. English should continue to be used for a period of 10 years after Malaysia Day
c. English should be an official language of North Borneo for all purposes, State or Federal, without limitation of time.

Point 3: Constitution
Whilst accepting that the present Constitution of the Federation of Malaya should form the basis of the Constitution of Malaysia, the Constitution of Malaysia should be a completely new document drafted and agreed in the light of a free association of states and should not be a series of amendments to a Constitution drafted and agreed by different states in totally different circumstances. A new Constitution for North Borneo (Sabah) was of course essential.

Point 4: Head of Federation
The Head of State in North Borneo should not be eligible for election as Head of the Federation

Point 5: Name of Federation
“Malaysia” but not “Melayu Raya”

Point 6: Immigration
Control over immigration into any part of Malaysia from outside should rest with the Central Government but entry into North Borneo should also require the approval of the State Government. The Federal Government should not be able to veto the entry of persons into North Borneo for State Government purposes except on strictly security grounds. North Borneo should have unfettered control over the movements of persons other than those in Federal Government employ from other parts of Malaysia into North Borneo.

Point 7: Right of Secession
There should be no right to secede from the Federation

Point 8: Borneanisation
Borneanisation of the public service should proceed as quickly as possible.

Point 9: British Officers
Every effort should be made to encourage British Officers to remain in the public service until their places can be taken by suitably qualified people from North Borneo

Point 10: Citizenship
The recommendation in paragraph 148(k) of the Report of the Cobbold Commission should govern the citizenship rights in the Federation of North Borneo subject to the following amendments:

a) sub-paragraph (i) should not contain the proviso as to five years residence
b) in order to tie up with our law, sub-paragraph (ii)(a) should read “7 out of 10 years” instead of “8 out of 10 years”
c) sub-paragraph (iii) should not contain any restriction tied to the citizenship of parents – a person born in North Borneo after Malaysia must be federal citizen.

Point 11: Tariffs and Finance
North Borneo should retain control of its own finance, development and tariff, and should have the right to work up its own taxation and to raise loans on its own credit.

Point 12: Special position of indigenous races
In principle, the indigenous races of North Borneo should enjoy special rights analogous to those enjoyed by Malays in Malaya, but the present Malays’ formula in this regard is not necessarily applicable in North Borneo

Point 13: State Government
a) the Prime Minister should be elected by unofficial members of Legislative Council
b) There should be a proper Ministerial system in North Borneo

Point 14: Transitional period
This should be seven years and during such period legislative power must be left with the State of North Borneo by the Constitution and not be merely delegated to the State Government by the Federal Government

Point 15: Education
The existing educational system of North Borneo should be maintained and for this reason it should be under state control

Point 16: Constitutional safeguards
No amendment modification or withdrawal of any special safeguard granted to North Borneo should be made by the Central Government without the positive concurrence of the Government of the State of North Borneo

The power of amending the Constitution of the State of North Borneo should belong exclusively to the people in the state. (Note: The United Party, The Democratic Party and the Pasok Momogun Party considered that a three-fourth majority would be required in order to effect any amendment to the Federal and State Constitutions whereas the UNKO and USNO considered a two-thirds majority would be sufficient)

Point 17: Representation in Federal Parliament
This should take account not only of the population of North Borneo but also of its seize and potentialities and in any case should not be less than that of Singapore

Point 18: Name of Head of State
Yang di-Pertua Negara

Point 19: Name of State
Sabah

Point 20: Land, Forests, Local Government, etc.
The provisions in the Constitution of the Federation in respect of the powers of the National Land Council should not apply in North Borneo. Likewise, the National Council for Local Government should not apply in North Borneo.

Pengalaman Berharga

Ya.. sememangnya pengalaman yang berharga menghadiri "Vocal Workshop" yang dikendalikan oleh salah seorang guru vokal tersohor negara yang lebih dikenali sebagai Cikgu Shafi (Alah! Guru Vokal Teknikal dalam Akademi Fantasia tu)....hehe

Banyak perkara baru dapat dipelajari dalam waktu yang singkat (10 pagi - 6 petang) kelmarin (20 Disember 2009). Sebenarnya, teknikal sangat penting! supaya kita dapat menyanyi dengan lebih baik. Bukan mudah menjadi seorang penyanyi kerana terlalu banyak aspek yang harus dijaga dan perbaiki.

Apapun, pengalaman yang saya perolehi akan saya jadikan bekalan (hehe) untuk memperbaiki diri dari segala aspek nyanyian.

Lepas ni, mau rajin-rajin jaga diet, kurangkan makanan berlemak, bersenam selalu dan menjaga suara. Tiada lagi istilah "bulan madu" sekiranya tiada aktiviti nyanyian. DISIPLIN!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

Man! Finally the moment that I have been waiting for has arrived. CHRISTMAS! Yes, waiting for you to arrive since January 2009. Serious!!.

Bagi saya, Krismas merupakan perayaan yang sangat-sangat bermakna bagi setiap pengikut Kristus. Kita meraihkan kelahiranNya. Sedari kecil, saya sebenarnya tidak begitu mengerti atau lebih adil, saya langsung tidak mengerti kenapa ia harus diraihkan padahal saya lahir seorang Kristian.

Namun, setelah mengetahui kenapa dan mengapa penganut Kristian menyambut Krismas setiap tahun, saya menjadi teruja, tersangat menantikan 25 Disember setiap tahun kerana saya sangat menghargai Yesus, lahir di kandang domba dan mati dikayu salib hanya untuk menebus dosa manusia. Orang lain mungkin kurang mengerti kenapa Dia perlu menjadi korban untuk menghapus dosa orang lain. Tapi itulah yang berlaku dan Dia bukannya manusia tetapi Tuhan yang menjadi manusia dan mengharungi segala sesuatu yang manusia lalui sehari-hari. Secara logik, memang tidak boleh difahami tapi jangan gunakan pemikiran manusiawi kerana pemikiran Tuhan itu tidak boleh dijangka dan dilangkawi. He is God and capable to do anything and everything. Tiada yang mustahil bagi Dia. Sedangkan manusia, Dia yang ciptakan!

Seingat saya dahulu, diwaktu kami masih kecil, ranting mati kami jadikan pokok Krismas. Dihiasi dengan sedikit kapas dan beberapa bentuk perhiasan yang mampu dibeli. Kami tidak pernah memaksa ibubapa kami, malah tidak pernah dimanjakan untuk mendapat pakaian baru mahupun hadiah. Namun, ibu kami seringkali menyuruh kami menggantungkan sarung kaki sehari sebelum Krismas. Menjelang Krismas, pasti sarung kaki dipenuhi dengan gula-gula dan lain-lain benda di dalamnya. Bila kami bertanya siapa yang beri, ibu tersenyum dan berkata "Santa Klaus". Saya secara jujurnya percaya sangat dengan Santa Klaus. Memang agak lucu ketika kecil menyambut Krismas tapi itulah kenangan terindah kami sekeluarga.

Tahun ini, Krismas datang lagi. keterujaan itu sudah saya rasai lebih kurang sebulan yang lalu. Berada di KL ini, menambahkan lagi keterujaan itu. Saya tidak mampu gambarkan dengan kata-kata. Apa yang berlegar difikiran sekarang ini adalah perkara-perkara dan aktiviti-aktiviti yang bakal saya lalui sepulangnya saya di KK.

Study, a lifetime journey

As I seat back in my office (govt office actually) suddenly it came across my mind about me who is longing to further study after been trying for so many years (since I finished my diploma actually). Finally!! I will be upgrading my education into a higher level next year!

Well, true enough when the time comes, it'll be your moment. Actually, I graduated my diploma somewhere in 2002 (I was still 19 turning to 20). even before I graduated, me and some of my ex-classmates were thinking of furthering our study in Australia, Edith Cowan University to be exact. I don't know what happened but as soon as we finished, we all find our own way and I am still thinking about it, till now to be honest. I always find that to graduate oversea is a great thing for a Malaysian like me.

I was fortunate that it didn't take me long of finding work (training actually) after college. Few days after, me, Diana and Betcy started off our training at one of the well-known resort hotel in Kota Kinabalu. It is supposedly a 4 months training (without pay!!!) and you know what, due to my stubborness and cannot accept that I will be "working for free" for the next 4 months, I quit from the training barely 2 weeks from the day I started. And the good thing was, I found a job few days after I quit from that awful training (it is awful because I have to work for free!!). This time me and my best friend, Zul, we went for the interview together and I still remember that we started working 1st of April 2002 (April fool!!). Unfortunately, something going on in between, just a month of working, We were retrenched!!.

It took me about 3 months to find a new job cum training ground. What did I do for that 3 months period? did I try to find new job?? Haha.. to be honest, I spent most of my time in the swimming pool than to flipped through the newspaper looking for a job. As a result, I have a better shape (but not now lah... sudah boroi!!) 3 months later, I went for an interview in a hotel and finally landed a job there after waiting for a week. I started working somewhere in August. Well, it is working cum training for me and the good thing was, I am paid to do my work! fair enough. After 2 months working, I got my confirmation letter then upgraded to assistant front office supervisor.

I thought I would last long in that hotel. I resigned after 4 months (well, we are required to take 4 months training in order to prepare our final report to get our diploma and I did undergo 4 months training. :)) Well, I resigned because I got a better offer!. Twice the salary of my previous. And the funny part was, the same company that retrenched me months back. They offered me a better salary and a better opportunity.

I lasted 4 years and a lil more 6 months in that company. I learn a lot of things. New things of course. I gained a lot of confidence within that period. I can easily mingle with anyone from all level. It has broaden my perspective and how I see life. the work ethics, working environment and the people that I worked with, has indeed change me to be a better being, to learn what is socialising all about, how you handle problems arises, how you work as a team and how to convince customers and achieve satisfaction and sales target. Besides that, it helps me to be more competent in speaking English plus, I get to know more Sabah as a whole and Malaysia indirectly.

During the 4 year term, I never actually stop from thinking of quitting job and to further my study. However, the major reason why I am not able to was, due to the fact that I have to somehow support my family, financially. I can't afford to be selfish. I can't just simply chase my dreams and let my family suffer. They have suffered enough just to make sure I get my diploma. all the while, it is them that holds me down and put them at the very top of my priority in life. I told myself, If I were to further my study again in the future, let me be the one who will fully support my education this time. I really can't afford to see them in vain again.

I can't deny the fact that during that period, I never stopped applying for furthering my studies. I did try Australia, The Philippines, and few other colleges and universities in Malaysia itself. At the same time, looking for a better job opportunities elsewhere. But then again, I was not ready financially and probably HE has HIS own timing for me. However, I keep on moving and moving and moving again and to be honest, at certain stage, I don't know where I am heading.

I have a lot of dreams but I only have one ambition. among my dreams were: to be an architect (I like to design shapes of buildings and house interior even though I don't know about measurement), to be a fashion designer (I even sew costume for my sister's doll when we were kids, haha and I sometimes find time just to sketch a design), I want to be a singer even though I sound bad. Actor, lawyer, and many more. But I only have one ambition, that is to be a teacher! and my tourism diploma was just a mere coincidence. I never know what is tourism and never even heard that word while still in high school. Imagine how we're being fed by the word lawyer, dentist, doctor, politician and other famous ambition until the word "tourism" never came across my mind!

However, tourism has helped me a lot and has prepared me to be a better human. I am somehow lacking of confidence, look down of my own self, don't know how to socialise, very restricted and not flexible in most things. And tourism has indeed turn my world 360 degree. For the better of course!

Now, 2009 has come to an end and indeed has been the greatest year for me so far. I got to continue study. Even though it is not full time (I can't afford to do so!), even though it is not degree in tourism (will discuss why, next time), I am indeed excited, happy and overjoyed that I am going through that path, a long wait has finally came to an end. I am proud of myself because I do it my own way (financially) and according to HIS timing. I have settled the 1st Semester's fee and all I have to worry about is for July 2010. When He opens door, nobody can close it. I see this as an opportunity of a lifetime. I came across Wawasan Open University as I was flipping through the newspaper. Call them, ask numbers of question, went to their campus, ask more question and finally register! My first class will be on 23rd Jan 2010!. By the way, I haven't fully decided on which Bachelor's degree to take actually. As of now, I'll just take the university subject. I still have few more months to finally make decision. They allowed their student to change course up to certain period.

One thing that I promised myself, I don't want to burden my family for this one unless if they have the capacity of doing so. I have promised myself to do the best I can even though I have to divide time between work, study and other things.

I have a lot to tell about what I have been through for the past 9 years in KK and now in KL. However, it is not easy and not fit to put it all in writing. My past has been a mixture of happy (most of it), sad, torture of the heart, excitement and unexpected things. And I am glad that I survive all the test so far.

Imagine, for someone at my age, having my own car, my own house, and a lot of monthly fix responsibilities that I have to take care of, but God has been so gracious, so merciful, so great and so amazing to me and my family. HE is a good God and a God of perfect timing. Seek, you'll find. Ask, you'll receive, knock and the door will be open for you. That is HIS promise to us.

I will continue move on even though I don't know where I am heading. For sure something great, something big, something amazing are waiting for me in the future. I just want my family and my other half to be there when I achieve the gloriest (no such thing as gloriest! haha) glory of my life!.

Wah! Sudah masuk 7 jam waktu bekerja tapi saya tidak pun melakukan sebarang kerja except for sending few documents for today's Case Management! To be honest, minggu ini merupakan minggu "malas" saya. I have work to settle but I don't have the spirit or will to do it!

Left, right and my back is all files. Files to be settled, files to be returned & etc2. Saya roaming2 saja d dalam office yang sejuk tahap gaban ini sampai mau berfikir pun susah. Tingu2 apa my colleagues tengah buat (obviously buat kerja of course! haha).

It's one of those days yang I take time to bermalas-malasan but I know I can settle things soon. What's on my mind?? Hem.... Definitely over-excited to go back for Christmas. Seriously, it has affected my appetite, my mood and my yeah! work recently. All I can think of for now is............KOTA KINABALU!!. I will be flying home 22nd Dec '09. Arrives approximately midnight. The best part of coming back is that I will be staying in our newly bought apartment!! yahoo!!!....tapi lampu bilik bulum ada coz I didn't ask them to pasang first..hehe....Oh ya, balik KL 4th Jan 2010 (2010 sudah!). I purposely choose Tuesday to work..hehe....

Sekarang ni, the pegawai's sedang lalu-lalang. Saya tingu2 jak durang cam buat2 keja kunu...hehe... By the way, for those yg mengikuti my blog, maaf ya if ada yg nda faham my language. Am a Sabahan, so it is a mixture of Sabahan punya Bahasa Melayu, Semenanjung punya Bahasa Melayu & of coursela English. You may read and laugh, I don't mind. haha... coz am laughing myself....huhu..

Actually, to be honest, I am so excited to go through year 2010 apart from tida sabar mau balik KK. :). I will become a student (semi actually) again! and of course I will be traveling again. Cuma my only concern is my financial status. OK, currently saya suda keja sama government, so memang tightlah coz gaji pun ciput kan??.... Bukan cam dulu masa in private sector, I am quite flexible. By the way, am just concern about it and not that worried. :) I have to belajar apa itu budgeting and its function after this. Saya mengaku yang saya seorang yang boros!... huhu...

Overall, 2009 has been magnificent. Tuhan itu baik. DIA selalu ada tidak kira waktu. Kan He is just a prayer away? memang betul. Tadi saya p tingu2 my fren punya blog and I came across this kata2:

It's 3:45pm suda pula..... Belum lagi pandai2 abis ni tulis blog!. Hem.. later saya ada keja sampingan pula. Meng-translate-kan sinopsis Makyung to English. hehe... ntah dapat tusin ka nda, buat jak la..... hehe...lagipun sa anggap sebagai practising ground sebelum butul2 serious in doing translation. :)

Bah! sampai cni saja for now ya.... Later, if saya masih malas, saya kontiniu la kunun. Oh ya! to those yang belum tingu 2012 & New Moon, PLEASE!! DO!! SO!! it is worth paying. Watched New Moon 2 kali! haha.... Thinking of watching Senario actually, pasal ada c Marsha..hua3.....

Farewell 2009. Welcome 2010

Wow...it is the end of 2009 and here comes 2010. A remarkable year for me and for sure a year to remember.

I survived 2009 with flying colours, again!. :)

What can I say about 2009?... hem...let's recap:

1. Moved into a newly bought apartment somewhere in Tuaran. Planned for it in 2010 however due to some factors, have to proceed a year early.

2. Job with the GOVERNMENT! yeah... a long awaited moment being achieved in 2009. Went for interviews since 2004 I think, and finally they accept me to be part of them... :)

3. Out from Kota Kinabalu. Out from Sabah totally. Spend my 27 years in Sabah (9 years in Kota Kinabalu) it is time to say goodbye and move on. I chose KL. I have no idea why but one thing for sure I need a change of environment. I need everything new. Kind of regret it at first but managed to overcome that creepy feeling after. KL will be my pitstop before moving on again and this time will not be in Malaysia. When? I can never give answers.

4. before entering 2010, I managed to enroll myself to further study. Yeah! It has been so many long years and the intention nearly fades and giving up trying when I was rejected few times by local Universities. Oh well, God has His own perfect timing for everyone. By the way, it is not related to tourism this time.

That is basically the highlight of my life in 2009. Smaller matters let me just keep to myself ya? :)

2010 bakal menjelma. Terlalu banyak yang bermain dan bersarang difikiran. Namun yang pasti, kehidupan saya yang akan menjangkau usia 28 tahun ini bakal menjanjikan sesuatu yang exciting, mencabar serta kebahagiaan :D. Saya cuma harapkan yang terbaik, berdoa dan serahkan semuanya ke dalam tangan yang Maha Esa. Lagipun Dia tahu semuanya kan....

Basically tahun 2010, saya bakal melancong ke beberapa buah tempat seperti Jakarta, Macau dan juga Bali. Selain itu juga, Januari 2010 merupakan detik yang ditunggu-tunggu yang mana saya akan menyambung pengajian secara e-pjj. Kelas sebulan sekali dan 2 semester dalam setahun.

I honestly can't foresee my future however I believe that God has prepared something great, something beyond my imagination. Jadi, saya tunggu jak la.....hehe....

Tengahari yang Pilu

Ditengahari, aku mencatatkan sejarah. Airmataku tumpah. Entah kenapa. Adakah kerana setelah membaca sesuatu yang menyedihkan? atau terlihat sesuatu yang menyentuh hati?.

Aku tidak punya jawapan itu. Namun apa yang aku tahu, ada sesuatu di dalam jiwa ini yang membuatkan aku menangis. Mungkin juga takut Tuhan akan tinggalkan aku bersendirian. Jika Dia tinggalkan aku, tiadalah lagi tempat aku bergantung harap. Hilang segala sukacita dan gelaplah jalan-jalan hidupku.

Ah!! kenapalah fikiran ini selalu mempermainkan aku? Aku mungkin saja menangis gembira. Atau menangis kerana aku ingin menangis. Aku mendongak ke siling seolah-olah aku melihat mendungnya langit yang mewakili jiwa ini.

Aku ingin segera bangun dari kekalutan ini. Aku tidak ingin dipermainkan perasaan sendiri. aku tidak mahu kalah pada keadaan. Aku ingin kembali ceria seperti sediakala. Tapi bagaimana? Aku rasa aku kehilangan sesuatu, tertinggalkan sesuatu tapi aku langsung tidak punya "bayangan" akan apakah "sesuatu" itu.

Aku sedar bahawa tiada siapapun dapat membantu aku selain diri sendiri. Tapi adakala, aku ingin menjadi pasif seperti ini. Seolah-olah gelap sekelilingku. Mengalah pada semua perkara. Aku rasa akulah manusia paling pilu dan sunyi di dunia ini.

Aku inginkan jawapan tapi aku tidak tahu apa persoalan utamaku kerana terlalu banyak yang sedang bermain dibenak. Sigh....

Morning people... Thank you for reading my blog... it is indeed a pleasure!

Pagi2 suda rasa happy and teruja. Kenapa?? pasal saya nampak GONGGOK!!!! hahahaha... punya lama nda nmpk tu benda (binatang ka serangga tu ah? haha). Dia jln2 d balcony high court..hahaha

Then, I have the chance to clicked and chat with my ex-boss in my previous company. Well, been working under him for about 1 tahun setengah sebelum ni. Am glad when he said "your going to be a big man in the future (jadi PM ka sa nanti?? haha). you are still young". Wah! I am surprised when he said like that. I mean, sometimes we disagree in certain things and he is a person yang wants you to have your opinion in all matters during the meeting. Dia paling tidak suka when we answer "it's up to you" or "I think so". Korean... :).

I am honestly bertuah kerana dapat bekerja under a Korean bos like him eventhough dia pandai angin-angin. hahahah... I will be a big man in the future?? hem.. what will I be?? let's find out 5 years from now??... ;)

Ada waktu di dalam hidup kita, kita akan rasa mengeluh, menyalahkan diri, tidak puas hati dengan sesuatu keadaan, marah, rasa ingin mengalah dan macam-macam lagi.

Semua perkara yang tersebut, telah saya lalui dan rasai sejak berada di Kuala Lumpur. Boleh dikira merungutlah juga mengenai kehidupan ini. Adakala saya merasai bahawa keberadaan saya di tempat ini adalah satu keputusan yang salah! Hendak beralah pada keadaan dan mahu pulang ke kampung halaman telah menjadi dorongan saya setiap hari setiap kali membuka mata.

Saya aku, saya tidak kuat dari segi emosi walaupun saya mampu bertahan dalam pelbagai dugaan dan cabaran hidup. Emosi, tekanan, dan macam-macam lagi hal negatif beraja dalam otak, hati dan fikiran seawal minggu pertama memulakan kerja. Rasa tidak kena, rasa tidak patut dan segala macam rasa menguasai segenap ruang hidup ini. Secara ringkasnya, saya merindui kehidupan lama di Kota Kinabalu, Sabah!.

Namun, setelah melalui kehidupan Jumaat, Sabtu dan Ahad minggu lepas, semua persepsi, tingkah yang negatif, pemikiran yang "kurang waras" dan ketidak puashatian berubah serta-merta. Rupa-rupanya saya kesunyian tahap "GABAN"! Kerana sedari mula lagi saya memang seorang yang proaktif dan ada sahaja aktiviti yang disertai tidak kiralah ia berbentuk rohani mahupun sosial duniawi.

Sekarang ini, rasa ingin balik, ingin mengalah, ingin dan ingin dan segala keinginan yang tidak patut-patut telah berkurangan. Malah, saya rasa kerana kawan-kawan baru disekeliling, kesunyian dan tekanan telah hilang serta merta. Tinggal lagi bagaimana saya harus terus menguasai keadaan di tempat kerja. Terus terang saya katakan, adalah bukan sesuatu perkara yang mudah! dari seorang pekerja swasta bertukar menjadi penjawat awam! Itu harus saya akui. Namun, saya percaya kepada pembangunan diri dan tidak ingin berada ditakuk lama.

"Perubahan bukanlah perubahan, sampai terjadi satu perubahan". Kata-kata ini harus saya pegang walaupun perubahan yang dilakukan mampu memberi kesan dari segi emosi dan tekanan tidak kiralah pada diri sendiri mahupun keluarga dan kawan-kawan.

Apapun, saya sedang berusaha untuk menguasai keadaan, memandang semua perkara dari sudut positif, tidak mahu mengaku kalah, tidak merungut dan terus bertahan selama mungkin. Saya tidak ingin mengalah terlalu awal. Saya ingin teruskan perjuangan hingga ke satu tahap yang bila tiba waktunya saya akan berkata "cukuplah setakat ini".

Buat teman-teman yang mengikuti blog ini, adakala kita akan merasakan tekanan, lebih-lebih lagi memulakan kehidupan di tempat baru. Tekanan emosi dan perasaan, Tidak selesa, rindukan tempat asal, dan pelbagai lagi perasaan-perasaan yang tanpa diundang datang menemani. Saya alami semua itu! Namun kerana saya sudah mula mencari kawan-kawan di tempat baru, mereka berjaya mengurangkan malah bakal menghilangkan segala macam rasa yang tersebut di atas. Kuncinya adalah "make yourself busy". Jangan biarkan situasi menguasai keadaan dan semua ini saya masih melalui proses pembelajaran tentang kehidupan.

Saya ingin menghargai segala sesuatu yang bakal saya lalui di tempat baru ini. Saya ingin menjadikan ini sebagai pengalaman yang berharga, mengongsikannya kepada teman-teman di tempat asal, membuat perubahan dan pelbagai lagi. Apapun, hidup harus diteruskan sama ada kita suka ataupun tidak.

What a weekend

Last Friday I was in a rush to go home as I am going to spend my weekend (turn to be weekends!) in my friend's house.

Unexpectedly, my friend's friends are also planning the same thing without me knowing or even know them. There was like 10 of us. So, in 1 night, I added 9 more new friends in my list!.. great! I was shy at first but managed to overcame that feeling as they are practically friendly and funny (well, am like that for sure. Haha)

What did we do during the weekend:

1. They bake cake & some food and brought it to my friend's place. We eat and chat till like 11pm. Decided to go karaoke after.

2. Karaoke ends at abt 2.55am(??) and go somewhere to have a drink. (Funny! am not tired nor sleepy)

3. Chat and chat and chat non-stop!. decided to go home by 4am!!!!

4. Reached home and ready to sleep.

5. I woke up early like I used to. Then sleep again.. wake up again... it's Saturday!!

6. Ask one of our friend to buy breakfast and we decided to eat by the pool (ahahah... nice!).

7. Spend few hours by the pool. Then back to the apartment. Relax.

8. I decided to join them to Seremban for a wedding at the very last minute.

9. Theme was pink & white. A friend send me home to take my "baju & seluar" (white checkered shirt and a white pant).

10. Arrived Seremban by approx before 10pm (we should be at the wedding by 8pm....no need to explain why.. Sigh). My first ever Malay wedding and probably they didn't plan it well at the very beginning.

11. Pink or white?? Guess only our group stick to that rule! You know what I mean...

12. Back to KL. Arrived home at about 1am. Sleep!!!....

13. Sunday! I didn't go to church (huhu). & I just take Sunday lightly. Watch tv with friends... breakfast....

14. By 4pm, leave the house and head to the curve for ayam penyek. Well, if you ask me about the ayam penyek, just OK. I didn't managed to creat the WOW-NESS in me! but ok lah..Dapat alas perut...hehe

15. Jalan2 for a while then they send me home. Arrived home by 8.30pm. rest & online till 11pm.

16. Now here I am.. sleepy...sleepy... haha.. But its ok... We plan for Zoo Negara this weekend. Looking forward to it!

Kuala Lumpur VS Kota Kinabalu

I am now sitting in the office doing nothing. Semua orang masih mood raya. Can't blame them. Can't wait for Christmas!.. haha

See the title? Yeah Kuala Lumpur (KL) VS Kota Kinabalu (KK). There is a lot to tell and there is a lot to complain but I rather keep it for myself, my own experience and to tell my children in the future..hahaha.. Don't go KL, KK better...

Being in KL for barely 3 months, I realized that KK is still the best to live, work and play. I missed the laidback kind of city, green and the smile from its people and how they value respect and hospitality. Here in KL, hospitality is at the very least of their agendas because profits came first. Don't blame me of saying this because I am here in KL and I experienced those inconveniences.

I missed those good old days where I wake up early morning (7pm) the sun shines bright, driving along coastal road in Likas, enjoying the seaside scenery when you can see the islands. I missed the seabreeze in Tanjung Aru and Tanjung Lipat. I missed everything what KK has to offer and I realized that I didn't take sincere time to really appreciate the things surrounding me all the while.

KL? what can I talk about KL?. The people? Out! city scenery?. Yeah if you like to see highrise building, congestion here and there!. Like there's one pepatah Melayu said: "hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri". Yeah, I prefer to be in my own land walaupun hujan dia batu. haha... but yeah, honestly.....

Overall, I never regretted choosing KL to work and start my so called new life eventough I sounded desperate to come back.. haha.. At least I got to learn and experience the life in KL. I begin to appreciate more of KK. I got to share to people that I met about the beauty of The Land Below The Wind. I got the chance to teach them some Sabahan words like "buli ba kalu ko", "adui dogo", "mulau", "tuli" and many more.. Its like being an ambassador at my own land. (well, oversea actually because Sabah is in Borneo and I am in West Malaysia. haha).

Here's my status update for nearly 3 months living and working in KL:

Blood pressure: My pressure is so normal but I guess it goes up a little now.

Tension : On the rise!

Sight : I need to seriously consider of wearing lenses or specs, again!

Energy level: You sleep and wake up then drag yourself to work. How's that sound??

Social life : From excellent in KK to poor in KL. I have different social lifestlye.

Weight : I dropped 6kg??? Trying to gain back because my friend said kalau kurus, saham jatuh... hahahahaha!

Height : I am short! there is nothing I or you or KL can do about it!. Move on....

Eating habit : I am 50% efficient compare to 150% efficiency back in KK!

Friends : Where? soon, I guess.. yeah...

Status : Single la bah!

Time for bed : previously when I arrived KL, 8pm and now I have to learn how to sleep after 10 or midnight.

That's about it and my advice to you guys who are still in KK: Please prepare yourself before coming to KL. It's not that I don't prepare but there is something in you that makes you wanna retreat. You must be well physically, mentally and emotionally. Anyway, its worth trying rather than doing nothing at all. At least I realized my strength and hopefully I will be better after this.

I'll comeback with the latest status and update probably a month after this.

SEKADAR SANTAPAN MINDA

Bila kita renung dan terjah kehidupan yang telah sudah, adakalanya kita merasa bodoh atau diperbodohkan. Ada pula kita merasa hina dan diperkecilkan. Tapi cuba kita selongkar baik-baik dan sedalam-dalamnya. Cari apa pengajaran yang kita perolehi melalui peristiwa-peristiwa yang melanda diri kita.

Dari situlah maka kita sedari, bahawa apapun yang kita lalui dulu, ia sama sekali akan merubah persepsi kita. Sebenarnya kita tidak bodoh malah tidak sama sekali diperbodohkan. Kita tidak sama sekali dihina atau diperkecilkan. Segala sesuatu yang terjadi dalam diri kita adalah bermanfaat untuk mengajar kita. Mengajar kita dari pelbagai segi dan sudut. Mengajar kita untuk berfikir dengan lebih baik dan matang serta waras. Mengajar kita untuk lebih berserah dan pasrah pada Tuhan. Mengajar kita untuk tabah dan senantiasa positif walaupun kekadang hal-hal yang berlaku boleh mematikan kita saat itu juga. Dari perisitiwa-peristiwa itu, kita juga tahu akan kemampuan kita dan harus diingat bahawa tiada satu pun ujian yang melebihi kemampuan kita.

Kita punya kekuatan dalaman yang cukup luar biasa. Hanya dengan melalui peristiwa-peristiwa itu, maka satu persatu kekuatan luar biasa itu akan timbul dan cukup membuatkan kita teruja, terkejut kerana tidak menyangka that "you have it in you all the while". All you need is to explore and expose. Jangan sekali-kali berfikir negatif bila menghadapi gelora hidup. Renungkannnya, cari kebaikkan melalui peristiwa itu, bangun kembali dan mulakan semula. Ya, memang penat untuk bermula semula, tapi that is the best thing to do friends. Daripada duduk melolong dan meratapi hal-hal yang telah sudah, better pack your things and set a new day and a new life. Walaupun payah tapi harus diingat bahawa segala sesuatu yang berlaku dalam kehidupan kita ada hikmah disebaliknya. Sama ada kita berani untuk mulakan semula, sama ada kita cukup kuat untuk bangkit dari kesedihan dan kepayahan lalu, itulah persoalannya.

Jika anda dibebani dengan hal-hal yang tak sudah, think again!! Why should you have to be in that situation. You can defeat it and you can win. Tidak perlu lari dari kenyataan tapi berusaha memulihkan keadaan dan ubah mind set. Kata orang, its all in the mind. Kalau minda negatif, maka segala sesuatu pun negatif. Rubah itu menjadi positif, nescaya segala sesuatu pasti akan bertukar positif. Bila anda sudah berjaya merubah dan melaluinya, pasti terdetik dalam hati kita "kenapalah aku perlu biarkan diri meratapi yang telah pergi?, kenapalah aku merugikan waktu memikirkan hal-hal yang telah sudah?, kenapalah aku perlu menyakiti diriku sendiri?" dan pelbagai lagi persoalan yang mungkin masa itu baru anda sendiri sedar bahawa anda membuat diri anda bodoh dengan memperbodohkan diri sendiri, menghina diri sendiri padahal anda ada kemampuan luar biasa yang belum anda terokai. Anda sendiri yang memperkecilkan diri dan memandang rendah keadaan anda.

Tidak perlu meminta simpati, atau melolong tak tentu pasal. Belajar untuk bangkit kembali, cari rakan-rakan yang anda boleh kongsi dan luah, Bangkitkan semangat dalaman anda, mulakan semula, mulakan yang baru dan senantiasa berdoa agar DIA akan terus menyertai perjalanan anda. Kembali pada DIA kerana hanya melalui DIA kita mendapat kelegaan.

Ingat!! tiap kita punya kekuatan dalaman yang luar biasa. Mungkin saat ini kita belum temui lagi. Tapi, renungkanlah keadaan diri anda, siapa diri anda, apa yang anda boleh lakukan. Jangan buang waktu dengan berfikir dan terus berfikir hal-hal yang telah lalu. Bukannya anda mampu merubah keadaan lalu pun. Menenatkan diri adalah. Jadi, jangan rugikan diri sendiri OK??. Yang lalu biarkan berlalu, kerana apa yang di hadapan itu harus diutamakan. Peristiwa dan kegagalan lalu cukuplah untuk masa lalu. Belajar dari kesilapan (tidak kisah siapa silap) dan mulakan yang baru, buka lembaran baru, langkah dengan lebih gah lagi. Tanamkan dalam diri bahawa "aku bukan manusia yang tewas" "aku adalah manusia berharga melebihi emas dan permata".

Kita cuma manusia dan sebagai manusia tidak akan pernah sempurna. Jadi, janganlah pandai-pandai mahu menjadi sempurna kerana itu tidak akan mampu terjangkau. Cukuplah dengan kehidupan biasa-biasa dan melalui kehidupan itu dengan tenang dan pasrah akan segala ketentuanNYA. Jangan merumitkan diri sendiri tapi belajarlah bersederhana dalam segala segi (especially time-time minyak naik,,hahaha).

Blog ini wujud kerana saya ingin meluahkan cetusan rasa dalam pelbagai aspek kehidupan tidak kiralah sama ada ia berkaitan dengan agama, politik, kehidupan orang lain mahupun rasa peribadi saya sebagai manusia. What a morning.

I always find drizzling rain as being romantic that you should pause yourself for a while and enjoy it with someone dear to you. (Unfortunately, am single!).

When I was back @ my kampung in Keningau (Live in a small wooden house. The best ever!)I still remember whenever it's raining me & my siblings will play with rain (raindrops from the zinc and we race with our hands. I don't know exactly how to explain that but that's about it. hehe). Sigh! that moment passed long ago and all of us grow up but we are so close with one another (even closer than we were still kids!)and don't want any of us to get hurt or left behind. By the way, the best part is: we still fight with one another...haha..

I am the eldest in the family, second will be my 23yo brother and the youngest is our lil (not so lil already. Ada BF suda pun. Abang2 dia yang still single! haha) sister aged 22. Oh lupa, am 27yo..haha. We grew up together, feel the happiness and pain together and living in a small house with one, then two then three bedrooms finally! (You get what I mean) For as long as I can remember.

Never come across our mind that one day we will be living in KK (because I finished my college in KK) then later on we will be separated with one another. When comes to think of it, I feel sad in a way that we are now living separately and happy in so many ways because our parents guided us to be who we are today & of course! we did work on it to reach our level now but not by our strenth but HE who lead us through the way.

It was like only yesterday that we are all still in school. Helping my siblings with their chinese homework (Imagine! that I have to do some of their homework drawing chinese characters using a type of brush! but I am in the national school). I still remember when my brother have difficulty in waking up early to pre-school and primary school because he doesn't like school..haha. Always get scolded by our parents (Let me keep it in our family on how he was handled by our parents.. haha... Amazing! but it worked!).

There are some things that I regretted of not doing while we are still young and one of them is I don't really take care of them that well compare to now. But I know, we are born survivors!.

Now! my sister is currently working in KL for nearly 4 yrs and am only a month plus in KL (I can never imagine my feelings when she decided to work in KL 3yrs plus ago. For weeks I feel so sad and kind of lonely because one of us is no longer close to us. What more my mom!). Then, it's my turn to say goodbye to my family in KK because of my decision to accept the job in KL. Oh well, I chose to be in KL ;). Me and my sister is in KL, my mom and brother is in KK and my dad is in Africa for about 11 yrs now!. My only hope and prayer is that one day we will be re-united and stay in one place as family. Family is our foundation and God has plans for every family.

Currently sitting on my desk thinking whether I should fill the empty spaces in me that soon or I just let it go, let it passed. I am very fragile when it comes to feelings and matters of the heart!. Guess I was born to love and not to hate!... Definitely...

Honestly, we can never really predict when is that special someone will appear but we can always feel it. Yeah! that is what I'm feeling now. Guess that special someone has already appear but it is a matter of whether we are both ready to commit to each other and bare the distance between us and never see eye to eye is another reason of being skeptic.

Oh well, I will just let the time decide on our situation. After all, if it meant to be mine, it will be mine and vice versa...

Oh, for you to know, I am now working in the big city Kuala Lumpur while writing this blog. Starting my new life, my new work and my new everything. Trying to get used to these place and getting to know new friends... I made it! ehm.. already a month here... ;)..

To be honest, it is not easy to leave everything behind... The day I received the letter offer from the government, I was overjoyed running from the ground floor up to the third floor, rushing to open the house grill and the first person to know is my mom (missed her so much)then the rest of my family members and friends... I am so happy and thrilled till I neglected the feelings of others (my mom especially).

The day that I was about to leave Kota Kinabalu for Kuala Lumpur, is the day that I left my mom in tears and hugged me saying "I am the hope of the family". I controlled my emotion but I can't bare with it when I am inside the departure hall. I cried quietly and let my tears do its part (hehe). I know that the people around me somehow noticed that I was crying but I couldn't be bothered.

So now,I am already 1 month and 8 days in KL. Nothing much about me that changed but the environment around me, the people that I met along the way plus the job task and and my new colleagues. Am still the same, go to church every Sunday (but not involved in the ministry yet), prefer to stay home and don't really go out at night (weekdays especially) and on weekends except that I have to and like to be alone in my room thinking and sleeping. You may find it boring but it helps me to save a lot because my first pay from the government will only come somewhere October '09 and other reasons no need to mention.(NOT TO FORGET that now A-H1N1 is more famous than Michael Jackson's death).

That's about it. But I still missed Kota Kinabalu, my family especially, my church mate, my friends and others. I missed the laid back kinda life that I had in KK. But I always believe that in order to grow and to achieve something, you need to let go of some things to get something in return... That's all the time I have today. Need to pack my things and head straight home. Going to the Ramadhan Bazaar and spend for food... I mean, lots of food... a lot!!.. haha..

FROM KOTA KINABALU TO PUTRAJAYA...NOT WITH LOVE..

Finally!! the moment that I've been waiting for.... I will be reporting for duty in Putrajaya this Monday, 22nd June 2009.

Honestly, I have so many chances to work in Kuala Lumpur. Got better pay but rejected it with the reason: not ready. Not willing to left my family behind. High cost of living. Etc2.....

But now, I have finally made up my mind, praying about it for years and finally HE answers it. I accept this opportunity with 4 reasons: It's a government post. Second is the benefit. Third, new environment and forth, the salary that I will get. I asked from HIM somewhere 4 to 5 years back. Thank you Lord.

I know, some people tend to say or critize my decision:

1. Are you sure you are ready to move out from KK and start a new living in the big city?.

2. Is your future salary is higher that your current?

3. The pay is too little.

4. Where will you be staying while you're there?

5. How about the family you left behind.

Yeah!!! more and more questions pop-up around me. But to be honest, for the very first time, after so many chances, I feel that I am doing the right decision for this one. After all, I just ask and HE replied.

I am currently under notice of resignation and my last day will be July 11th 2009. I realize that I don't have enough time and I need to rush things up and do some checking before finally landing myself in the big city.

I am an adventurous person and have this "come what may" attitude. I believe whatever comes to our lives, It doesn't meant to harm us unless we want it to be. HE answers it and I believe HE will provide all the necessities that I need while am there. I believe HE won't let me down because HE loves me.

By moving out from Kota Kinabalu, I will left a lot of things behind:

1. My family (my mom and brother, gonna missed you guys)

2. Friends (whether my ex-colleagues and my churchmate)

3. Church (I will missed all those mission trip, concert, conference, lead worshipping and others)

4. Beauty of Sabah (of course, we are known for our diversity in everything. From the mountain top to the deepest sea. Nature : Flora and Fauna abounds)

For sure I am gonna miss all those things. But one thing for sure deep in my heart that no matter where I will be, HE will put me in the right place. I believe that I will get to serve HIM in and out of the church. HE will provide me a place where I can worship HIM and if HE allows it, I might end up being one of the lead worshipper in that church.

I can always go back to KK. Maybe 3 times a year. Less or more, depends as long as I got to see my family because they have been there for me during my ups and downs and they are my shoulder to cry and carry on.

I do hope that this will be a stepping stone for me to probably go a little bit further. In a sense that I got to work oversea. That will be wonderful. But for now, I will just gather all my knowledge, my skills, my everything and it will be my foundation to move further in the future.

Wow! tinggal beberapa waktu lagi, Festival of Praise 3 (FOP3) bakal berlangsung. 30 Mei 2009 itulah tarikh keramat pada tahun ini.

Terlalu banyak persiapan yang sedang dilakukan untuk memastikan kelancaran konsert pada kali ini. Kami ingin melakukan yang terbaik, bukan untuk kami manusia tapi yang terutama adalah kerana YESUS, yang mati dikayu salib demi menyelamatkan manusia berdosa.

Sepanjang beberapa bulan ini, Borneo Praise Music (BPM), team yang terlibat dalam konsert yang bertemakan "Jesus, the Bright and Morning Star" ini sedang giat berlatih suara, memantapkan vokal dan persembahan. Selain itu juga penari-penari turut sibuk mempertajamkan tarian mereka demi kemuliaan Tuhan. Ya Tuhan, hati ini sangat rindu untuk terus meninggikanMU, memuliakanMU dan memberitakan kebaikkanMU kepada seantero bangsa.

Acara konsert dijangka bermula tepat jam 7 petang. Acara yang bakal berlangsung lebih kurang 2 jam 30 minit bakal menyajikan lagu-lagu baru dan lama, sedikit kesaksian daripada salah seorang rakan BPM dan sedikit sharing daripada seorang pastor agar mereka yang datang pada konsert kali ini, tidak akan pulang dengan sia-sia melainkan membawa sesuatu untuk dikongsikan kepada keluarga, sanak saudara dan juga teman-teman lain lalu menjadi berkat kepada semua orang.

Konsert pada kali ini diharap dapat menjangkau jiwa-jiwa yang kering, yang tidak mengenal Tuhan pencipta kita, membawa kembali mereka yang telah meninggalkan pelayanan dan mereka yang masih ragu-ragu dalam hidup mereka tentang mana satu jalan yang benar dan hidup untuk mereka pilih.

Saudara saudari yang dikasihi dalam Tuhan, kami memohon agar anda menyokong usaha kami, bukan untuk kepentingan peribadi tapi semua yang dilakukan ini adalah untuk meninggikan nama Yesus, menyatakan kepada semua orang bahawa Yesus ada untuk kita semua, DIAlah jalan dan kebenaran yang hidup. Betapa besar pengorbananNYA dikayu salib.

Praise be to GOD for HIS anointing Spirit whom has led us to this present moment: and now we present to you, Festival of Praise 3 (FOP3) "Jesus, the Bright and Morning Star".

We, from the Borneo Praise Music (BPM) with the help of SIB Emmanuel and SIB Citymall are indeed grateful with the chance given to us to organize this such wonderful event. The only one reason is to proclaim that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour, Wonderful Redeemer. We are indeed excited and are currently composing new songs for HIM.

Shalom dan salam damai buat teman-teman seiman. Puji Tuhan kerana kebaikkanNya maka hingga saat ini kita diberi peluang untuk terus hidup dan bersaksi bagi Dia.

Sebagai makluman awal, pada 30 Mei 2009, Festival of Praise 3 sekali lagi akan diadakan bertempat di Dewan Maksak Likas, Kota Kinabalu. Konsert yang bertemakan "Jesus, the Bright and Morning Star " akan bermula tepat pada jam 7 petang bakal membawakan lagu-lagu baru yang fresh. Semua ini dilakukan untuk mempermuliakan Tuhan dan Juruselamat kita, Yesus Kristus.

Berkaitan dengan harga tiket konsert pula, sekiranya anda purchase mulai hari ini sehinggalah 30 April 2009, anda cuma perlu membayar RM10. Mulai 1 Mei onwards, harga akan menjadi RM20. Itu bagi tiket biasa sahaja. Bagi harga tiket VIP pula, mulai hari ini sehingga 30 April 2009, berharga RM50. Menjelang Mei harga akan menjadi RM100.

Hari yang memboringkan...

Ya!!... hari yang memboringkan di opis ari ni. Masakan (bukan memasak ah! hahaha) tidak, 2 org saja ni di opis coz the other 2 on leave (sick leave and emergency leave).

Boring tetap boring. Kerja malas pula mau buat... ehm.. tiba2 terfikir pula tdk lama lg we all pigi Jakarta (Yahoooo!! jalan2 tengok konsert!!!)... Saya, Benjo, Jaaf, Jai, Pst. Bios, Onnie n Onong is the magnificent 7 (..hahaha..) yg akn ke Jakarta pd 7 Februari depan. 1 minggu lagi tu.....Well, our mission is to see how TW handle their concert and we can improvise and apply it for our next FoP3 concert.

This will be my 2nd time to Jakarta.... Ehm.... Sy arap kawan2 sy suda buat pasport. Kalu nda, ehm... telan air liur jak la...hahahahah....

LIFE IN 2009

Wow!! its the 5th day of the year 2009!!... interesting!! exciting!!..... Finally!! I managed to put my body in rest mode. Rest from everything. Recuperating from anything.

Well, this year my goals is getting higher and tougher. I am going to continue my study to upgrade myself to degree level (stuck in Diploma for 5 long years...sigh). I might be going to UNI... to submit my application and transcript. Am excited + nervous and hoping that my brain still functions well to accept new information!..hahaha... sounds silly but yeah!!. I don't know what's waiting for me this year. I don't know what is going to happen to me this year. However, all I can do is to surrender everything unto HIM who has lighten my path up to now.

More travel planned!! hehe...Yeah! I won't have enough when it comes to traveling. For sure this year am going to KL then to Langkawi (I have purchased the tickets..hehe.. pssts). Family planning (not that kinda plan, u silly!), Will be going to The Phillipines for the second time to attend a cousin's wedding. Am thoroughly excited that I will be visiting them again and this time with my family. Will be going to Jakarta this February (2nd time...yep!)

In life, if we don't dare to venture new things, we won't go anywhere but stuck in the same place as long as you yourself want. So!, one of my long time vision is to own a business that I can call my own. I want to venture into business and I must! start this year. I still trying to figure out which one and hoping to get contact with the right person, soon....

I am going to be 27 this year (question about marriage MUST be put aside for now) and I still have a lot of things to accomplish. Hope that our country, Malaysia will be in good shape to counter economy recession this year so that the people like myself will have the chance and opportunity to improve myself to be better.

NEW YEAR RESOLUTION (Part 1)

Wow....it's almost end of 2008 and here comes 2009...and....and....am getting older...sigh!!....

Oh well, back to our topic "New Year Resolution".... ;). Everytime when it comes to a new year, we will try to figure out what is our resolution or goals in the upcoming year. Like myself, I do the same thing as well but not too strict with it though (is that bad?? I don't know). As for me, to be strict on your own path of life (achieving targets all that) means no life at all. I am not saying that having goals is bad.. but what I really meant was; You have goals, go and try to achieve it but don't let yourself suffer just because of trying. Try to achieve it in a smarter way rather than torturing yourself. Plus, appreciate the things that coming your way that you least expected.

About my new year resolution, well.... before I decided what is my future resolution, I need to do some check list of what's been happening in my life in 2008, what have I achieved so far, what's new happening in my life that I never thought it will happen or anything......So, all of that counts before I decide my new year 2009 resolution. I usually bring forward my old resolution if I failed in achieving it in previous years.

This year has been a magnificent year for me overall. My long time dream of visiting my home country has been fullfilled for the first time. Yeah!! Philippines!!. I been there! Well, I am a Malaysian by citizen but a Filipino by ethnicity. I can't deny that I am still what I am eventhough we are here in Malaysia for such a long time.

Honestly, every year I have my plans of visiting places like The Philippines (achieves it :) ), Kuala Lumpur (Again! twice this year and my first time last year 2007), I think Australie was in my list, but didn't achieve it though. Ehm... What else? Ehm I was supposed to go to JB last October but finally cancelled my trip last minute (even bought my AirAsia ticket). I was heavily involved in my church community activity(glory to HIS most precious name). Honestly, my involvement in church was never planned, not even in my entire life have I dream of getting involved but HE planned it for me.....

RM2.1O PER HALF AN HOUR!!!???... NOT KIDDING

Read the title....just imagine, we have to pay RM2.10 per half an hour or part thereof just for a parking space??....Kidding?? NO, SERIOUS here!!.. Half an hour kena bayar RM2.10?? memang melampaulah. Mula2 murah, 0.37 sen utk 30 minit yang pertama dan kedua.... Lepas tu RM2.10??? ADEH!!!!

Saya bekerja at least 9 jam satu hari. bayangkanlah jika saya park dari jam 8 pagi hingga 5 petang....30 minit pertama = RM0.37 then 30 minit kedua = RM0.37. Lepas tu, 30 minit yang seterusnya RM2.10. Kira punya kira, dapatlah seperti ni:

30 minit pertama = RM 0.37
30 minit kedua = RM 0.37
30 minit seterusnya = RM2.10 / satu jam = RM4.20 X 8 jam kerja sehari = RM33.60 JUMLAH BAYARAN PARKING DALAM SATU HARI = RM34.34

Siksanya!! tempoh bekerja 5 day week x 4 minggu = 20 hari X RM34.34 = RM686.80 satu bulan!!....

Bagaimana dengan kehidupan mereka yang punya gaji RM1000 ke bawah? gaji RM1500 ke atas pun ligat memikirkan masalah ni. Gaji habis dibayar untuk parking sahaja! dan hutang2 wajib dan sara diri seperti loan rumah, loan kereta, kredit kad, bil air, bil elekrik, Astro, telefon rumah atau handphone, belanja makan dan minum time2 lunch waktu kerja, belanja dapur sama ada yang masih bujang atau sudah kahwin, bagi "poket money" untuk anak dan isteri dan ibu dan bapa dan adik2, shopping, simpanan tuk hari tua and the list go on and on....

DBKK ada tak fikir semua ni sebelum impose rules baru ni??. Pernah tak mereka buat tinjauan atau meminta pendapat penduduk Kota Kinabalu tentang cara yang termudah dan tidak membebankan penduduk KK ni?. Kaedah lama yang murah sikit tidak berjaya, ni tiba2 perkenalkan kaedah yang agar keras dan maha zalim. Bayangkan parking dekat Api2Centre ni, by Monday 1st December 2008, asal masuk jak perlu bayar dan kami2 yang selalu engkar bayar ni dah tak boleh eskep dah. Bukan tidak mahu bayar tapi TIDAK SANGGUP. Gaji dahlah ciput dan cukup2 makan, mahu bayar parking sebegitu jumlah tiap2 hari?? orang kaya pun merungut!! jika difikir secara waras, pembayaran ini sebenarnya benda yang tidak patut2 kerana ada lagi benda yang wajib dan patut dibayar.

Tidakkah senario ekonomi dijadikan ukuran dan seharusnya berfikir untuk mengurangi beban rakyat? Cara baru ni tidak releven sama sekali malah membebankan.

Christmas is Around the Corner....

Today is Sunday, 23rd Nov 2008. Well, plus minus, we still have at least a month for Christmas... (birth of our Lord and Saviour).

It is exciting when it comes to Christmas... Colourful decorations hanging in each Christian homes, shopping malls etc2 and not forgotten, exchanging gifts with one another plus enjoy meals with family, relatives and close friends to strengthen ties.

However, sometimes when we "overly" enjoyed this celebration, we ought to forget the real meaning of Christmas. We got carried away with all those goodies, partying all night long, gambling and spend money with unnecessary things till we neglected the true meaning of Christmas itself, that is the birthday of our Lord and saviour, Jesus christ.

It is sad to notice that most Christians didn't get the real meaning of Christmas, OR they maybe know but didn't really bother. Not judging but its reality, guys.

Christmas is all about Jesus Christ and the day HE was born, a time for us to sit, gather in the church with family and love ones and praying, thanking HIM for HIS sacrifices, HIS teachings that has helped us to understand life and how to live life according to the right path. It is all about HIM and HIS glory. NO OTHER REASON. This celebration is to remind us over and over again that HE live forevermore, HE is anywhere where we stand, anywhere where we sit, whether we are awake or asleep, HE is there.

A "shoulder" to cry own, A MAN that we can depend on, a trusted COMPANION, and a loving God that has no barrier.

Jesus is our real friend. In this wonderful season and occasion, let us not put HIM second class, but put HIM at the very top of our priority. Lets make this Christmas a start, a beginning to all of us Christians to sit and think for all the good things that come in our lives, the family we have, the job we have and the list go on and on.... Let us not deny the fact that HE has been there all the time to support and guide us to the "light" so that we won't get lost along the journey.

The day HE was born and the day HE leave this earth, has change the world dramatically. Christmas is all about Jesus. Not those beers, wines, gambling, clubbing and any other things that you can think of that is not worthwhile.

Let us be a real Christian who knows what is Christmas is all about, knows who is Jesus Christ and knows what's written in our Bible. It's never too late to start all over again. Jesus loves us and HE know who we are... HE knows our thoughts before we could even think of one.... God Bless You and Merry Christmas.....

Actually, am so excited walaupun kekadang ada rasa stress juga...stress keja pun ada...stress hidup pun ada (bukan mengalah pd hidup ok??... tapi lebih pd keadaan dunia ni yg semakin lama semakin rosak)....Am excited coz its going to be CHRISTMAS SOOOOOOOOONNNN!!!.... hehehe..... I can feel d spirit already..... Cuma kita d sini ni lambah bah ada decoration Christmas....Ada sesetengah negara tu, Christmas decor mrk dah start pasang & jual since end of September......

Nak dekat Christmas ni, tak boleh fikir nak relax...relax dr keja tu dapatlah, but relax drpd activiti gereja, jgnlah mimpi..hehe...kerana byk betul mau buat ni.... But its all for HIS glory... Kekadang pernah juga tertanya, ehm..ngam kah landasan aku skrg ni? or dlm englishnya "am I on d right track?"..hehe.... or betulkah apa yang aku buat ni....apa2 lagilah yg terfikir...but kalu ikutkan sgt apa yg difikir tu, takkan jadi 1 benda pun....tul tak??.....

Oh ya!!...saat yg dinanti-nantikan adalah trip p Jakarta oleh team BPM...hehe... ni yg excited juga ni & this will b my 2nd time going to Jakarta.. Well, tuk tgk konsert n belajar dari para senior (don't know what I am talking abt?? ask me personally... :) ).......Then pasni, sibuk pula tuk FOP3, which will be announced soonnn!!..so, stay tune to find out....

Shalom dan salam damai buat saudara seiman dalam Yesus Kristus.. Ini adalah pemberitahuan awal bahawa Pada 7 June 2008 (Sabtu) akan diadakan konsert live recording bertempat di Dewan Maksak, Likas, Kota Kinabalu. Konsert akan bermula seawal 7 petang dan dijangka tamat pada jam 9.30 malam.

Mengekspresikan kekayaan dan keunggulan seni rohani kepada Allah melalui muzik adalah tema konsert tahun ini yang mana kami akan menyampaikan sekurang-kurangnya 17 buah lagu baru. Untuk pengetahuan saudara saudari, hos pada tahun ini adalah dari Gereja Sidang Injil Borneo (SIB). Namun, konsert ini merupakan event "interchurches" iaitu gabungan antara gereja-gereja di Sabah seperti Basel Christian Church of Malaysia (BCCM), Pentacostal Church of Sabah (PCS), Calvary, Gereja Baptis Pelita Cahaya Sabah (GBPCS) dan lain-lain. Makanya, konsert ini terbuka kepada semua gereja-gereja dari pelbagai dinominasi yang terdapat di Sabah, malah dari Sarawak, Brunei atau Semenanjung Malaysia jika ada.

Untuk pengetahuan saudara saudari seiman juga, pada 5 June 2008 akan diadakan Kebaktian Kebangunan Rohani (KKR) bertempat di SIB Likas, Kota Kinabalu. 6 June 2008 pula merupakan Seminar dan Bengkel Pujian dan Penyembahan yang merangkumi; pemimpin pujian, pemuzik, penari rebana/tarian kreatif. Pada malamnya pula akan juga diadakan Kebaktian Kebangunan Rohani (KKR). Seminar dan Bengkel Pujian dan Penyembahan serta KKR tersebut akan berlangsung di SIB Likas Kota Kinabalu. Saya mendorong anda menyertai seminar dan bengkel pujian dan penyembahan ini agar kita dapat pelajari sesuatu yang baru atau refresh pelajaran yang pernah kita terima dahulu yang seterusnya dapat memperbaiki skil pujian dan penyembahan dalam gereja kita masing-masing demi kemuliaan Tuhan kita.

Sepanjang hari pada 7 June 2008 tidak akan diadakan apa-apa acara kerana memberi ruang untuk persediaan konsert pada malam tersebut.

Sekiranya anda ingin terlibat dengan Seminar dan Bengkel Pujian Penyembahan pada 6 June 2008, yuran penyertaan adalah sebanyak RM30 sahaja dan yuran ini adalah termasuk tiket konsert . Kepada sesiapa yang berminat untuk menyertai konsert sahaja, harga tiket adalah RM10.

Scene at a restaurant

It's saturday!! half day for me today....em...dis morning after went to d bank to deposit a cheque, I went to a restaurant at Gaya Street to buy porridge for my breakfast.

While waiting for them to prepare my "tapau", I took the chance to sit for a while and observing others. Most of them are senior citizens dining at the restaurant. Suddenly, I saw a lady, short hair with her apron on. She was washing the dishes. I looked at her, well, stare at her for nearly a minute and in a sudden my mood changed. Not because she does something funny or irritated me but the way she wash the plates and glasses... Her movement was very slow (the way I looked at it or she is doing her work passionately??? I don't know) from one plate to another and from one glass to another. I think she's in her mid 50's. I was so sad while watching her doing the washing. For me, she's kinda old to do those stuff (unless she is willing to do so to avoid boreness).

Am not sure if she's part of the restaurant owner, or if she is just an ordinary chinese worker in the restaurant... But by watching her doing the washing, her movement, oh man!!.... Its funny though. I am beginning to wonder about my future..hehe.. What will I be in the next 10 years, who is going to take care of me when I am old (well, if am married and have children, I hope they can take care of me..hehe). How if am alone and without achievement? Will I end up like the old lady?? huhuhu...

Look at the bright side.. With this, I begun to appreciate my life more. It helps me to realize that life is short, live like you're going to die tomorrow. Don't waste any seconds by doing foolish things. Appreciate life and accept things that comes to you. Update yourself and don't forget God who has been our true foundation.

Hey guys..we meet again but today am lazy to put colours on my writing. Be it natural okay?..hehe....

Am kinda bored today and seems like I don't know what to do. Tired of working and wish to have my own business or anything related that I can call "my own". I always have faith in myself and I believe I can go far further than what I have been doing now. Its just a matter of time and everything will change in minutes, days and year.. Owh!! I don't know know what I am trying to say here...what a crappy..haha.....bare with me...bored here....

This week am kind of "busy" with my church program... Need to list down songs for friday and sunday event. CNY had passed, got ang pow also la..hehe.....can help me survive this week.... Am outta budget actually since I have to pay for banging someone's bumper early January... At least 1 is settled and a lot more to settle slowly..(hutang bah!!...haha)

Bah..enough with my "luahan perasaan" for 2day...want to find something to get busy with. All the best to those who read my blog..... take care and God bless.

Good morning everyone.... It's been a while.. At last I am here..haha

Refer to the title above. Yes!! Concert is here... BORNEO PRAISE MUSIC (BPM), a local praise and worship group in Malaysia (in Kota Kinabalu (aka KK) to be exact) will be holding a praise and worship concert. The concert themed "New Creation @ Ciptaan Baru" (2nd Cor 5:17) will be held on 07th June 2008 (Saturday) at 7pm. Venue and ticket prices will be announced soon.
Let us join together to praise and worship our Messiah, Lord Jesus Christ who has been our Loyal Comforter, shower us with His greatest love and protection and has shed His blood on the cross for our sin. He is our True God, our True foundation. Glory to Him our King, Lord and Saviour.

Hi people... Never expected that I can write a blog 2 days in a row... Guess am falling for you ma blog...hahaha..

Yeah!! you got it right.. tomorrow is our national holiday, again??.. Yeah, Malaysia known for it's loads of public holiday in a year calender.. and tomorrow is Awal Muharram.

Well am not that free anyway and never been free eventhough when I am on leave as I don't like to stay at home and I must do something to make me busy... But never be a busy body for sure..haha

We have our Borneo Praise Music - BPM retreat starting tonight and the whole day tomorrow..am looking forward to it.. We are planning something big this year..a concert!!, so just wait and see and I'll let you guys updated..

New year New Resolution

Hello....I am here again to blog again.... New Year with my new resolution...

Currently working with an airline company, a good start for the new year. Better pay and better environment and totally new working line or task.

Talking about resolution..well, I must say that I don't even write it down on a paper or anywhere..haha.. What is my resolution?? Well, its simple.. Be a better person compare to last year and brought forward the things that I didn't achieve is 2007.

Yeah, be a better person...I know who I am and I know what I have done in 2007. Things that I didn't achieve in 2007?? haha...makes me wonder..I have been to KL, Johore, Singapore, Jakarta, Kudat (was supposed to visit "The Tip of Borneo" but rained heavily once we got there). I found a new job before 2007 ends. What else??... I have been heavily involved in praise and worship team (Borneo Praise Music (BPM), Pulse and my local church) - ALL FOR YOU LORD.

What else I didn't achieve in 2007??... Oh yeah, was planning to visit my so called "homeland"..haha...The Philippines in 2007 - will replan this year. Am planning to revisit Kudat (hopefully it won't rain this time). Supposed to continue study in 2007 (Guess, I am going to give it a miss this year everthough the dean called me up end of 2007 that I got in).. Em, I was supposed to take my Diving License (haha, hopefully this year). & most important!!, pay off all my debts!!!... + I need to take extra care of my health and I want to continue active to serve my Lord & Saviour. - Prayer is power.

I have struggled a lot in life in 2007.. Thank God at least I know my level of strength of facing the uncertainty. It has boost up my level of confidence in what actually I can do, my view about life and the surroundings, Accepting the facts than am getting old (hahaha), and experience does makes us matured.

I am happy to live the way I am now... If I can change one thing in my life and this world?. I want to be capable enough so that I can help those in need. I want to travel more to see more and to write a book about life and the people on earth and to let the world know and understand that "war is not the solution" and "to love is the right way to stop every hatred within us".

Gosh, am I too much??...OK!!, will stop here for now.. I'll see you guys again later..God bless ya all.. I always believe in this quote of mine..haha " Don't do things because you have to (well, sometimes is ok!, but do things because you want it to and you enjoy doing it (only the good ones please")..

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2008

At last!! My favourite season of all time is here. Christmas!!.. I just love Christmas. Not because that I'll be getting bundles of gifts (if any, haha) or because its a holiday, but its a time where we celebrate Jesus Christ's birth. I owe Him a lot for dying on the cross. A lot of people will gather in churches to celebrate His birthday and some of us will have our faith renewed.

Besides that, it's a time for all of us to sit and think, what we have achieved this year, what have we done right and wrong the whole year, what do we need to improve for next year and probably the unachieveable target that we need to carry forward to next year.

I finally landed a new job. Yeah, Asiana Airlines. I got it.. Thank you Lord.

A great job I must say. Am new here, so I need to struggle a bit to get myself updated with the company's infos and etc....... I need to have all infos at the tip of my finger so that it'll be easier for me and it'll be convenient for the clients.

Guess that's it for now... Merry Christmas and it's time for all of us to renew our resolution for this coming new year 2008. Have a wonderful holiday...

Uncertainty attacking me

Yeah!! U guys can see the title..Uncertainty attacking me... I am in a midst of resigning from a job that I just started barely 3 months old. I do have my own reason though..

On the 10th, I'll be attending an interview for d post of......neh.... I'll let u guys know if I got d job. & last night my church mate invited me to attend an interview in an airline company.. cool!! but not a steward ok??..haha.. Another friend of mine asking for a resume so that she can pass it to her superior. All of this is in a range of "good pay" however task is different.

One more thing, I am still waiting for the result of my application at one of the local University for my degree which will commence next year January and at the same time I have sent an inquiry to a university in Manila as am keen in studying there and at the same time, to get to know my roots and culture.

So guys, just imagine if I got all the respond at the same time?? What if all are positive answers?? I am less worried if all are negative though..haha.. because I don't have to think to much of the option but still be wondering on why I didn't get any?? and I might be demoralized after....or some are "+" n others are "-".. I just don't know... sigh... Now am not certain which 1 or what.... Before this, yeah.. Its like I know what to do and how is my life going to be and what should I be doing..

Guess I have to surrender all to HIM up there..yeah!! thats the best thing to do... So guys, any advice??? Its not my nature to listen to advices though but I am trying..... :) so help me out....
